Summary

This project presents a carefully resolved response to tight building constraints within a generous but highly restricted site. Although the plot measures approximately 1000 sqm and has a rounded geometry, planning regulations limited the actual building footprint to triangle layout of just 50 sqm. The design transforms this limitation into an opportunity by developing a compact, vertically organized dwelling that maximizes spatial efficiency while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

The house is conceived as a sculptural, cubic composition made of interlocking volumes. Its clean, minimalist geometry emphasizes clarity and function, with white plastered surfaces contrasted by darker projecting elements. These cantilevered volumes—housing balconies—extend outward, creating both visual dynamism and practical outdoor spaces without increasing the footprint.

The ground level aligns with the natural topography, allowing direct access to the outdoor terrace and swimming pool. This level contains the primary communal functions—living room, kitchen, and dining area—organized in an open-plan layout that visually expands the interior. Large glazed openings frame uninterrupted views toward the mountains, reinforcing the relationship between interior and landscape. Vertical development is key to accommodating the needs of a four-member family. The upper floors stack private spaces—bedrooms and bathrooms—within the compact envelope.

The outdoor area is treated as an extension of the house. The pool terrace acts as the main social space, seamlessly connected to the interior through sliding glass doors. The positioning of the pool along the edge of the plot enhances the perception of openness and draws the eye toward the distant mountains.
